Unorthodox Games

Just some months ago, I started playing poker. And just recently, I started reading some books and articles for self improvement.

Just an information, I only play online chip and some home games with several friends and the way we play seemed unorthodox. Typically, we play limit preflop and no limit postflop. Also, we don’t go big blinds small blinds.

Any advice or pointers? Anything will be much appreciated.

You are playing mixed limit holdem without blind? This type of game will allow you to see a lot of hands cheaply. Loosen up your style a bit and see a lot of flops. When you hit the flop strong, then punish your opponents.

I would recommend you add blinds to your game. Otherwise it will become a total lottery game with everyone staying in every hand hoping to hit.
