Progress to Improvement

I’ve been studying the tricks of poker for about a month now. I have started playing in tourneys online with 35 - 40 man for $1. Of course, you have to start somewhere that’s why I did played on those.

At first, I don’t know what exactly to do. I barely last till the top half most of the time. But I never stopped. I looked for some books that could give me some strategies and my determination didn’t failed me. I found one that provided me almost everything I need to know.
But as of now, I am wondering if there is still anything else I can do to speed up my learning and progress to improvement? I play online at least a couple hours a day, and read for roughly another couple of hours. But I feel there’s more I can do. Are there sites that could help me out? How about tables? Any advice will do.
