Online Poker for Mac

The first thing that comes into my mind when I bought a new Mac was to play poker online. I was really excited back then. But after knowing that most online poker rooms were for Microsoft Windows alone, the excitement was totally replaced by hunting feelings and trouble. I tried to looked for some information about where I could play poker for Mac, but luck wasn’t with me perhaps.

As I could remember, the first thing I did was visit PartyPoker.com and really tried badly if I could play. But during that time Party Poker have no Mac compatible poker client. When I discovered it, I was really frustrated, most especially most of my friends used to play on Party Poker. But fortunately, right now there is already a Mac Party Poker Client, so good for those who are looking for such.

To continue with my story, after leaving PartyPoker.com, I checked out Google.com hoping to find some answers. I have tried almost all the possible keywords, “Play poker for Mac”, “Where to play Mac poker”, etc. but unfortunately I didn’t get anything.

But because I was really determined, I didn’t stopped there. I started to develop my Mac poker site. Of course, it was hard. I looked for rooms that had a downloadable poker client for Mac, but again, I found nothing. But I don’t know why, something crossed my mind about poker software that need not to be downloaded. Luckily, I found a few compatible poker rooms.

The first room was with Pacific Poker, which is still actually my best-loved online poker room as of the moment. With Pacific Poker, I was able to make my first deposit and play just through their no download poker software called the “Quick Play”.

The next room was with the PokerRoom. This room shares common attributes with Pacific Poker. They have no download poker software as well and making initial deposit is also very easy.

As of now,quite a few more no download poker rooms are already made available for Mac users. But despite of this, some Mac users are still confuse how to actually make use of the poker games intended for mac.

Bwin, PokerRoom, Hollywood Poker, Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker all have Mac Clients for their site. Bwin, PokerRoom and Hollywood Poker both have non-download clients.

You must download the PokerStars and the Full Tilt client. I know a guy that has a Mac and plays on Full Tilt without issue. If you have problems with downloading or installing the software, contact their support department.
