On Session Swings

For about 2-3 years, I’ve been playing poker but I don’t take things seriously. But just a week ago, I decided to make it as a viable source of income. At first, I started searching for a lot of infos, strategies, tips, etc. and eventually got the average hang of it.

Merely, I started with 50 euro in chips and then earned 25 from it in a certain 0.25/0.50 fixed game. And before quitting, total +20 euro. At some point, I believed it was not that big, but it always happens to me. Any tips or advice?

Well, such situations are starting to annoy me. I don’t understand why these things happen. Any suggestion on how I can make things a lot better? Or on how I can maximize my performance? Do you it would be much better if I just play more average joe hands, like everyone else?

You earned 25 euro in a .25 /.50 Limit game in one session? That is fantastic for that level? Whatever you’re doing, keep going.

As far as the situations that are annoying you, it is hard to comment without complete information. What I will say is that bad beats will occur when you are playing solid poker. This does not mean change a working strategy in order to play like everyone else. Play the strategy that has you winning 50 big bets a session.
