Getting to the WSOP the Best Way

WSOP is always a much awaited event in the poker world. That’s why I am just curious if you can give me any advice or suggestion on how players can get to the WSOP, the best way.

More or less, I’m talking about those of us that can’t fairly give the $10k for just the buy ins. From time to time, there are many places giving out promotions, but every time I check one of them out, it’s like 1 entry per 1 million entrants.

For people who want to go the WSOP next year, any helpful advise or good recommendations?

Pokerstars offer a steps program that is a series of single table tournaments that lead up to a package. You can start at any particular level, but the steps start as low as $7. If you win Step 1, then you move on to Step 2. If you win or place in top 2 in Step 2, you move on to step three. This continues until you reach step 5. At Step 5, if you win that table, you win a package into the World Series of Poker.

Another option is to play single table satellites at the World Series of Poker. If you win two $500 satellites or 1 $1,000 satellite, you have your entry into the Main Event.
